Why the name? Because I’m not very clever and couldn’t think of anything better. Why the blog? Because athletes today, with help from social media, TMZ, and even ESPN, are just as popular off the sidelines as they are between them. Athletes are all over twitter, talk shows, and more and now control how much personal information they want to share. In most cases, they want to share a lot.
Basically, this blog exists for one purpose. You don’t need a blog to tell you that Tom Brady threw for 300 yards and 3 TDs on Sunday. You might need one to tell you what happened with Giselle on the Wednesday before. If that’s the case, welcome to Athlebrity.
