Contador Tests Positive for Banned Substance
Stop the presses, another Tour de France winner has tested positive for a banned substance. Spaniard Alberto Contador, who won his third Tour de France this past July, has been notified by the UCI that both his A and B urine samples on July 21 tested positive for a “very small concentration” of clenbuterol via a World Anti-Doping Agency-accredited lab in Cologne, Germany.
